The official trailer for Tulsa King Season 2 has been released, giving fans a thrilling preview of what’s to come. The trailer features the song “Get By” by country star Jelly Roll, who also makes a cameo appearance in the season. The music sets the tone for a season filled with action, tension, and the gritty life of crime in Tulsa.

Stallone’s character, Dwight Manfredi, is as bold as ever in the trailer. At one point, he declares, “Nothing resolves a conflict like a good smack in the chops.” This line captures the rough-and-tumble style of the former mob boss who is ready to take on anyone who stands in his way. Another bold statement from Manfredi, “Tulsa belongs to me now. I don’t answer to any man,” sets the stage for a tense season where Dwight and his crew must defend their territory against powerful enemies.

The first season of Tulsa King ended on a dramatic note. Dwight, who had just started to establish his new criminal enterprise, was arrested at the grand opening of his bar. The arrest was a result of a tip-off from FBI agent Stacy, and it left viewers wondering what would happen to “The General.” This new season picks up from there, showing Dwight determined to expand and protect his growing empire in Tulsa, despite the challenges that lie ahead.

One of the significant threats Dwight faces in Season 2 comes from the Kansas City mob, who have their eyes set on Tulsa. Additionally, a powerful local businessman is also looking to take control, making Dwight’s mission even more dangerous. Dwight’s past continues to haunt him, especially with unresolved issues back in New York, which could potentially disrupt his plans in Tulsa.

Season 2 is produced by 101 Studios and MTV Entertainment Studios. Taylor Sheridan, known for creating Yellowstone, continues as an executive producer. Terence Winter, who also worked on The Sopranos, returns as the lead writer after initially stepping down, bringing his expertise in crafting crime dramas. Craig Zisk joins the team as a director this season, ensuring the show’s cinematic quality remains top-notch.

The first season was packed with intense moments, including Dwight’s confrontation with Chickie, a mobster whose actions led to Dwight’s 25-year prison sentence. Dwight also faced off with Caolan Waltrip, a rival gang leader, in a bar fight that ended with Waltrip’s death. These events left Dwight’s future uncertain, making the Season 2 trailer even more exciting as it hints at what’s next for him and his crew.

The cast for this season includes familiar faces like Martin Starr, Jay Will, Max Casella, Vincent Piazza, and Tatiana Zappardino. New additions to the cast include Neal McDonough and Rich Ting, who bring fresh dynamics to the show. Filming for the season took place in Oklahoma and Atlanta, capturing the gritty atmosphere of the crime world Dwight is navigating.

Fans don’t have to wait long to see what happens next. The first trailer for Season 2 was released on June 26, 2024, and the new season will premiere on Paramount+ on September 15, 2024, in the U.S. and Canada, with international viewers getting to see it a day later on September 16. As Dwight Manfredi expands his crime empire, viewers can expect a season full of suspense, action, and unexpected twists that will keep them on the edge of their seats.
