DES MOINES, Iowa – Although it’s cold now, winter won’t last forever. If you’re hoping for some warm weather, August is a good time to look ahead: The first two artists scheduled for the Iowa Lottery Grandstand Concert Series have been revealed by the Iowa State Fair.

The grandstand stage will host performances by Lauren Daigle and Foreigner on the fair’s opening two evenings on August 8 and 9, respectively.

The following year, contemporary Christian singer Daigle would debut at the Iowa State Fair. The two-time Grammy Award winner debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Christian Albums chart when her self-titled album was published earlier this year. The album’s performance resulted in him being named Billboard’s Top Christian Artist of the Year.

Special guest Blessing Offor, a Christian pop and gospel singer, will perform with Daigle.
